Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings and agreements for the provision of services by Sukhi Mattu ("the Company"). By booking with us, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Definitions

  • "Company" or "we" refers to Sukhi Mattu.

  • "Services" include personal styling, wardrobe edit, personal shopping, and any other services provided by the Company.

  • "Client" or "you" refers to any person contracting with the Company for the provision of Services.

Bookings

  • To make an appointment, email s_mattu@live.com or submit an inquiry form via the contact page at www.sukhimattu.com.

  • A 20% deposit is required 7 days prior to the first appointment to secure your booking. An invoice will be emailed to you.

  • The deposit is non-refundable.

  • Payments should be made via bank transfer.

  • The outstanding balance must be settled 7 days before the first appointment.

  • Gift vouchers require full payment at the time of purchase.

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and must be used within 12 months of purchase.

  • We recommend scheduling a call with Sukhi before purchasing a gift voucher to discuss the best package for the recipient.

  • If appointments run over at the client's request, an additional hourly rate of £90 per hour and any additional travel costs will be charged.

Payments

  • Payments for gift vouchers and appointments must be made at the time of purchase/booking.

  • Payments are non-refundable and will be forfeited if an appointment is canceled.

  • Gift vouchers can only be exchanged for Services; no cash rebate will be given for shortened appointments.

  • The fees cover only the time of the service.

Postponement and Cancellation

  • If you need to postpone an appointment, inform us at least 24 hours before the appointment is scheduled to start. Failure to do so may result in cancellation.

  • If we can reschedule to an alternative date, your payment will be transferred to the new appointment but cannot be refunded.

Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the issue date.

  • If no date is specified on the voucher, the holder must make an appointment.

  • If the holder needs to postpone an appointment, they must inform us at least 24 hours before the appointment is due to start.

Relationship with Stores

  • The Company is not an agent for any stores you may be introduced to or accompanied to for shopping.

  • Contracts for purchasing goods are between you and the store. Terms regarding price, returns, defects, and other issues are as per the store's policies or as agreed between you and the store.

  • The Company is not liable for the quality, condition, or performance of any goods purchased during or as a result of our Services.

Liability

  • The Company warrants to perform the Services with reasonable skill and care.

  • No other warranties or conditions, whether implied by law or otherwise, are provided.

  • The Company's liability, including that of its directors and employees, is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant Services.

Travel Expenses

  • Sukhi Mattu is based in Birmingham.

  • If you prefer a location outside Birmingham for shopping appointments, travel costs must be covered by the client.

  • Additional accommodation costs, if required, are also payable by the client.

On the Day

  • If items cannot be obtained on the day, alternatives will be discussed with the client.

  • For home visits, ensure your clothes are in reasonable order and accessible to save time.

  • For shopping days, wear comfortable clothes and shoes that are easy to take on and off.

  • The client is responsible for collecting all alterations and click-and-collect purchases made on the day unless otherwise agreed.
